This Fall, Canusa-CPS, was delighted to open the doors to our new facility in Edmonton Alberta Canada.
This facility will be instrumental in providing light manufacturing support for the pipeline industry in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan. Given the condensed construction season, improving lead time down to 24 to 48 hrs has a tremendously positive impact on our customers, and helps further cement our strong relationships with them.
At present time, the facility is currently stocked with Canusa, Covalence, Stopaq, ScarGuard® and OVERPIPE. Soon the facility will also house products for our infrastructure team (Verdia, USC, Flame Control and LifeLast). Having these products for immediate dispatch into the Canadian market gives us a clear advantage over our competitors.
In addition to material storage, our Canadian Field Service team will work out of this location, providing them a home base for the over 150 field service visits performed annually. Additionally, we have some sales support functions working out of this location that will support the Western Hemisphere.
