Canusa-CPS Liquid Epoxy Type E-WF is a two part epoxy applicable in Wet or Force Cure conditions.
It is used as the primary layer with GTS-65-ISO and GTS-65-EN Canusa-CPS Heat Shrink Sleeves. With versatility in application methodology, epoxy primer type E-WF allows for use in great variety of environments where 3-Layer Heat Shrink Sleeve field joint coating is required. It is composed of a specially formulated 100% solids epoxy system, which does not use any volatile solvents. This ensures that the thickness of the epoxy layer does not change as it cures.
Coating Continuity
The Liquid Epoxy Type E-WF layer offers equivalent corrosion protection to FBE primary layer in 3 layer polyethylene and 3 layer polypropylene mainline coated pipelines.
Improved Cathodic Disbondment Resistance
Liquid Epoxy Type E-WF will improve the Cathodic Disbondment resistance results for hotmelt type adhesives when compared against bare steel substrate.
