PDO operates in a concession area of about 90,000 km2 (one third of Oman’s geographical area), has around 209 producing oil fields, 55 producing gas fields, more than 8,000 active wells.

Given the vast expanse/breadth of operations, multiple pipelines and fittings are required to undergo rehabilitation works over the course of their service life.

Known for our product performance, ease-of-installation and project excellence, Canusa-CPS was selected by contractors on a short notice to propose an effective product for use on the rehabilitation works.

Solution

Canusa-CPS recommended applying its Viscoelastic product comprising of WrapidBond® & WrapidCoat®. Given the dynamic nature of the requirements on hand, Canusa-CPS is able to delivery materials on an extremely short notice from its regional distribution center located in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Viscoelastic material offers a quick and efficient old wraparound application methodology enabling the contractor to quickly install the product on the field joints. Furthermore, the product has a robust and impressive track record of use within the GCC territory which instilled a firm sense of confidence with the end user/contractor both like.

The contractor – Seeh Al Sarya Engineering L.L.C.–  is engaged in carrying out Oil & Gas related Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance works in the Sultanate of Oman. Its headquarters are situated in Ghala, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
